How we make money from the SportNetwork site. We receive a share of the advertising revenue generated by the site in two parts – hits on our story pages and hits on the message board. We receive five times as much for a story page hit as we do for a message board hit. [This is because story pages carry more ads and the advertising industry much prefers content to message board hit.] So we will make more money the more stories we post on our site and, of course, by the amount of visitors we attract.
