Reserves crowned N Wales Premier Reserve League Champions

By wivey - June 2 2012
Our 19s had a fantastic campaign being crowned reserve league champions as well as winning the under 19 NEWFA Cup. The reserve league was a great achievement with the side only made up of under 19 players and the cup victory was in a penalty shoot out against TNS, after defeating other Welsh Premier youth sides Airbus and Bala on the way to the final.

Seven different players represented the first team in competitive games (more than any other top two teared clubs in Wales). Rhys Healey, Aled Reece, George Baxter, Ryan Jones, Shaun Tinsley, Steve Belli and Jordan Beck.

Aled Reece, Jamie Wynne, Shaun Tinsley and Jordan Beck earned Wales under 18s caps in games against the Republic of Ireland, with Rhys Healey representing Wales colleges against Scotland and Jordan Beck against Northern Ireland which was shown live on Sky Sports.

10 different players also played for North East Wales under 18s in the Tri Angular Cup this season which saw the side win the trophy for the first time in 6 years.
