A 100+ Deeside Stadium crowd watched on as early an goal from Brynley Preece steadied the nerves and gave Nomads a 1-0 half time lead. Nomads stepped up a gear in the 2nd half and 2 goals from Jamie Cross and a late hat-trick from Jim Gambino, ensured that we finished the season as 2nd Division Champions by a 1 point margin over Llandudno Reserves.

Jim Gambino's hat-trick, sees him leap frog to the top of the 2nd Divisions goal-scoring chart with 29 Clwyd League and Cup goals for the season and Brynley Preeces goal and a Jamie Cross double strike, sees them tie as Nomads 2nd equal top scorers with 13 goals apiece.

Whilst goalscorers often grab the headlines, these lads would be the first to admit that it is down to a magnificent all round team effort from the whole squad, that the season has been able to end so successfully. The season has been marked throughout, by Nomads entertaining and attacking brand of football and it has seen them score a remarkable 103 goals in 26 games as well as finishing with the divisions best goal difference of 62 goals.
