NOMADS RESERVES TOP THE CLWYD LEAGUE 2nd DIVISION, WITH 2nd CONSECUTIVE 5-1 VICTORY:- Nomads dominated the first half with some excellent football and went in with a 4-0 lead. Honours were even in the second half, giving Nomads a final 5-1 scoreline. >

The Reserves won 5-1 tonight in an impressive display.
The lads knocked the ball around well and looked strong from the back, throughout the pitch.
Left winger Bryn Preece, looked very good and the two boys up front Jim Gambino and Marc Gunther looked sharp. Both centre backs Bobby Ragget and Rob Shaw, looked strong amd confident. The two centre midfielders looked a little light weight to me though, but all round, the team looks strong and has depth. The league title should be within their grasp.

Managers report:-

Team line up:- Richard Roberts, Ben Howarth, Jay catton, Bobby Ragget(capt), Rob Shaw, Jamie Cross, Tom Lloyd, Dave Bamford, James Gambino, Marc Gunther, Bryn Preece. Subs : Carl Cooke, Ben Elias, Ross Abercrombie, Carl Wilson, Nathan Jones.

We carried on where we left off on Saturday, with a fine performance. Jamie Cross scored the first after James Gambino beat 2 players to pull the ball back for him to score. We then went further ahead  5 mins later, when Ben Howath slotted the ball through for Jamie Cross to score his second. 10 mins later, after dominating the game, Brynley Preece fired home from the edge of the box for our third goal. James Gambino scored the fourth with a curling shot into the top corner, to give us a 4-0 half time lead.

In the second half, Bobby Ragget scored a penalty. Credit to Wepre they kept battling to the end and got rewarded  when they scored from a free kick. Another good display, but again we could have scored more goals.
