Mark Williams took up coaching and management when he hung up his boots at the age of 29. For the first 6 yrs he worked with Flint and Bagilt Juniors, he then managed Flint Town United Reserves for 2 1/2 yrs, finally moving to Halkyn Utd Reserves where he has been for the past 3 yrs. Mark did his basic Coaching Leaders award some seven years ago and is looking forward to the possibility of doing further Coaching Awards whilst Managing our Reserves.

 Pre-season training for the Nomads Reserves starts on Thursday evening (2nd June 6pm for a 7pm start) at Dock Road and Mark will be in attendance, along with Jim Hackett and Jay Catton. A lot of excitement surrounds our Reserve team this year, the main focus being on young talented local players who have progressed through our excellent Academy and who have the ambition to progress into Nomads Welsh Premier League team.

 The Clwyd Premier Reserve league will be a tough baptism for our young team to play in this season. Reigning Clwyd Premier Champions Prestatyn Res are joined by Rhyl Reserves, who have dropped down from the Welsh Alliance League and the strong established Reserves sides of Flint Town United Res, Llanduno Res and Llandudno Junction Res.
