After a long break the Harlequin Ladies are back in training for the start of the new season. Training started twice a week on the 22 July 08, and the girls are glad to be back.

New coach Ben has started to teach the team some new things as well as put the team through their paces. Ben started to work with the ladies towards the end of last season, so many of the team have already met him. Ben made this comment about working with the team for the forthcoming season:

"It's a great pleasure to be working with Harlequin Ladies. I'm looking forward to helping the team achieve, what I believe they are capable of"

Throughout the season the Ladies hope to have guest coaches from Harlequins to help reinforce the skills that Ben has will teach them.

Pre-season training so far has encouraged some new and old faces to turn up. The club are keen to see as many people turn up to training and fight for their places in the squad for the coming season.

Harlequin Ladies encourages all players of all levels to come and join us. If you are a beginner looking to learn the game or if you've been playing for a long time everyone is welcome.

Training is on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:30pm till 9pm at the Richardson Evans Playing fields in Roehampton Vale.
