Ø
There will be a maximum of 100 members.
Ø
So long as membership is full, a waiting
list of those wishing to join will be kept on a first come, first served
basis.
Ø
Each member will pay £52.08 a year to
retain membership, payable at a rate of £4.34 per month or by a one off
annual payment of £52.
Ø
Membership will be paid by a monthly
standing order in favour of East Retford RUFC. [The accompanying standing
order form should be completed and returned to the 100 Club Administrator].
Ø
Failure to pay membership on the due date,
or cancellation of the standing order at any time during the year, will
signify the member’s wish to withdraw from the 100 Club with immediate
effect.
Ø
Each member will be allocated a number.
Ø
In order to decide each member’s number,
numbers are issued on a first come first served basis commencing at one.
Ø
Vacancies in the membership will be filled
from the waiting list, with a new member automatically being allocated the
100 Club number of the member being replaced.
Ø
A draw will take place in the Clubhouse on
the last Saturday of each month, supervised by a Member of the Club’s
General Committee. The winner of this monthly draw will receive a cheque for
£50.
Ø
A second draw will take place in the
Clubhouse on the last Saturday in each quarter, supervised by a Member of
the Club’s General Committee. The winner of this quarterly draw will receive
a cheque for £500.
Ø
A member may win both the monthly and
quarterly draws on the same day, and there is no limit to the overall number
of draws that a member may win throughout the year.
Ø
If, for any reason, it is not possible to
hold a draw (or draws) on a particular Saturday, then the draw(s) will be
carried over to the following Saturday.
Ø
Should there not be 100 paid up members in
the 100 Club on the date of any of the monthly or quarterly draws, the value
of the prizes will be reduced proportional to the actual number of members.
Thus, if there are only 97 paid up members on the last Sunday in May, the
value of the monthly prize will be 97% of £50, i.e. £48.50. The quarterly
prize similarly will be reduced to 97% of £500, i.e. £485.
Ø
All questions, requests for information, or
other matters relating to the 100 Club should be referred to the 100 Club
Administrator, whose contact details can be found on the Social &
Fundraising notice board in the Clubhouse.
