Due to unprecedented demand to run a course over the summer to allow coaches, parents and players to gain some referee training and a qualification while out of season, the RFU have arranged an Entry Level Referee Award (ELRA) at Wheatley Hill RUFC (Doncaster) on Weds 20th & 27th Aug (6-9pm) and Sunday 31st Aug (10am-4pm)). It is hoped that some of you may be interested in attending.

It is open to players, coaches, spectators, parents and referees wishing to update their qualifications. The minimum age for candidates is 14 and there is no maximum age limit!

At a cost of £50 per head for all sessions, candidates will get a large amount of DVDs, information and other course material as well as whistles and cards on the day. For a 12 hour course this is very good value. We hope that many of you will see the benefit of attending and look forward to hearing from you.

This is a great opportunity to get qualified and improve referee training during the close season and therefore not to interrupt your coaching, playing and viewing experiences during the season.
