NEWI Cefn Druids crashed to a 3-0 home defeat against high-flying Rhyl to condemn them to life in the Cymru Alliance next season.

A first-half hat-trick from Lee Hunt did the damage and, with Afan Lido and Airbus UK losing, the gap to 16^th was just too far out of reach.

All that could possibly save Druids now is if one of the teams coming up from the feeder leagues fails to meet ground grading requirements. Presently, Grange Quins in the Welsh League, have slipped to third place, but have two games in hand on the top two.
