Opening day fixture changed

By Mark McKean

THE opening game of the season between The New Saints and NEWI Cefn Druids has been switched.

The game, scheduled for Friday 17 August, has now been changed and the fixture will now be played at The Ancients’ Plaskynaston Lane.

As a result, the fixture that was originally meant to be at Plaskynaston on Friday 14 December, will now be at Park Hall.

In addition to this, Druids’ fixtures against Port Talbot Town have also been reversed.

The Ancients will now travel to the ReMax Stadium on Saturday 22 September with the return game now on Saturday 26 January.

With the fixture switches, Druids now have no home league game on a Saturday until 12 January 2008, when Aberystwyth Town are the visitors.

Why looks like a good question.

But the answer is obvious, the full timers want to play all their home games on the plastic in the woods.

Bloody disgrace.

Whats got 5 eyes, five legs, five arms and five hands?
What counts more than double but only pays single?
