Risca United under 19s 1 Cwmbran Town Under 19s 2

Cwmbran Town kept the pressure on Newport County at the top of the Welsh League youth East division on Sunday with a well earned win against a battling Risca side, goals by Joey Carless & Jamie Parsons was enough to secure all three points, this result leaves Cwmbran in second place on 29 points the same as Newport County but Newport have two games in hand.

Due to injuries & non availability of players Cwmbran could only start with 10 players, and an injury to Lee Challenger left us ending the game with only 9 players, which makes the win even more impressive.

Our next game in the under 19 division is away to Newport YMCA on Wednesday 12th of April, so come along and support the boys.
