On Saturday, a mixture of the Pool first team / second team will take on Belgrave RFC, who hail from Leicester and play their rugby in Midland East 4. Belgrave have bags of tradition and are celebrating their 125 anniversary.
On Sunday, the main game of Presidents day, sees a Hartlepool first XV take on Anth Carr select XV, The select XV which will feature a number of players from West, Horden, Rovers and Tech. West try machine, Rob Thorn will play his last game for Anth Carr side in a strong line up.
Pool will give a first team debut to Andrew Palmer who has re signed from Rovers and Howie Murray will pick a strong side which will feature the majority of the side that gained promotion, The only player who is absence is Lee Dodgson who is away on holiday. Try machine Frankie Coulson who scored 34 tries will play in the centres and will looking to feed winger Dean Ryan who scored an impressive 28 tries.
Saturday - 1st XV V Belgrave XV (touring side), all players to meet 130pm, kick off 3pm.
Sunday, Presidents Day
U8's V Stockton, meet 10, kick off 11.
u12's V Stockton, meet 10, kick off 11.
2nd XV V Horden 3rd's, meet 11:30, kick off 1pm.
Presidents XV V Anth Carr's select side, meet 130, kick off 3pm.
