The game against the Nomads looked to be heading for a 0-0 draw, until Airbus conceded a goal on 80 minutes against the run of play. Airbus needed a point to be out of the relegation places, but a loss was unthinkable.
However, with a determined fightback, James Hughes scored twice in the last 8 minutes to give the Wingmakers a crucial 3 points.
Now Airbus travel to Caersws for their final game of the season, knowing a point will probably be enough to avoid relegation.
The other relegation candidates also have tough games, with Afan Lido travelling to Welshpool and Cefn Druids facing Rhyl.
