Official Scottish Rugby League
Coach Webster Students Turn Army Over In Edinburgh
By Students Turn Army Over - March 27 2008
Scotland Students overcame a 0-6 half time deficit to beat the British Army 18 – 12 at Preston Lodge RUFC in Edinburgh last night. >
The Scots were outstanding after the break and produced some exciting, flowing rugby league against a very strong and physical Army side. Outstanding for the Scots was Napier University fullback Nick Broere, producing the hit of the game on the powerful Army prop forward, who had broken the Scottish line, to dislodge the ball.

Full internationalist Dave Lynn of Napier University was among the try-scorers, as was Stanningley prop Andy Wormald. Scotland were coached by Chris Chamberlain and Mark Webster.

At full time the Students were understandably delighted with the result and now turn their attention to their next fixture against the Prison Service on 30 April at Castleford RUFC, Kick Off 7.30pm.
