Team Northumbria v TECH
Having got their season up and running last week against Redcar
TECH will be looking to continue rebuilding tomorrow when they visit
Bullocksteads, the home of Team Northumbria. The students have had a steady
start to their season winning two of their three games to date, their loss
coming against Redcar on 4th October.
For this game TECH will look for their small squad once again to
show the commitment and team spirit that was no noticeable against the
Teessiders in last weeks defeat. Although Redcar came to Grayfields confident of
an easy victory they were made to work extremely hard for the win and the final
score did not fully reflect TECH's efforts and the pressure they put the
visitors under especially during the second half. Once again after the
difficulties they have been through of late actually playing the game is
probably more important than the final result for TECH although there is no
doubt all the players will be looking to try and gain that important first win.
With some players having made themselves available last week
after being out of contention it is hoped others will also turn out tomorrow and
in the weeks to come as they look to get more stability into the side. Tomorrows
game will of course be another difficult one but if they again display the will
to work hard for each other they are quite capable of turning in another morale
boosting performance.
