A full morning of Rugby for the boys. There was a lot of good play on the field today. I thought the boys handled themselves very well. 

The Harrogate A team were very strong in the forwards, powering through to get the ball, passing wide to use the width of the pitch. This they did on a regular basis. It was only through the superb defense that stopped them from scoring more. Harrogate had the ball for 80% of the match, this  proves how good the defense was .

Otley and Ilkley had there usual good game. Closely fought all the way. The score doesn't do the match justice. Ilkley in this match had the stronger forwards, which does make thing a little easier moving the ball around.

I would like to thank Otley coach Sam for letting us come along to play , with our match against Baildon being cancelled.

Special mentions to: Callum Mellars, Jack Snell, Kristan Dobson, Samuel Linfield, Thomas Newton, Alec Graham and Rory Osbourne. All had very  good games.

All the boys played well today, if this is how they play in their first match, we have a lot to look forward to. They should all be proud of the way they played.
