| Redcar Rugby Club players, partners and their guests enjoyed an excellent night last Saturday at Mackinlay Park. In an event organised by the Rugby management team an enormous amount of suspect, sorry excellent, wine was consumed. Quite frankly I am sure my drinks were spiked because it normally takes much longer for me to slur my words!
At this point you would expect some excellent photographs of the winners receiving their awards but sadly we have only some glamorous group shots taken before the drink had taken effect.
Congratulations to all the winners and in particular to those sponsored by this site namely, Neil Cook, Jeff Thompson, Dave Whyte and Geoff Waterfield.
There are only 120days to go before the start of the 2005/06 season and the Lions tour to look forward to. I feel sure the Management will have all sorts of plans to entice you down for the televised games and will already be discussing discounting opportunities. Lets hope so.
