Halifax Town Supporters Trust
HTST 2007 ELECTION RESULTS
By HTST Board - June 28 2007
The count for the Halifax Town Supporters Trust 2007 elections took place tonight in the Southdale Lounge at the Shay. >
Before the count took place long serving Trust Secretary Ian Robinson announced his intention to resign from the Trust board at the AGM. Ian had earlier in the year intimated to his colleagues that he no longer wanted to continue in his Secretarial role, however his decision to step down completely was unexpected. This meant that five of the six candidates in the election would now be elected.
Of the 307 members eligible to vote, 149 returned ballot papers one of which was declared void by Presiding Officer Malcolm Powell (Fax Trust). The results were declared as follows:

Baker 66
Butler 91
Harris 106
Heaton 47
Holroyd 74
Probets 115

Therefore Allan Baker, Gavin Butler, Richard Harris, Paul Holroyd and George Probets will seek to have their membership of the HTST board confirmed at the Trust AGM, arrangements for which can now be put in place.
The successful candidates were handed the Trust's Board Membership Policy, Code of Conduct for Board members and Membership declaration form to sign prior to the AGM takes place.
Our thanks go to Malcolm Powell of the Halifax RL Supporters Trust for his work as Presiding Officer.
