Village handed home tie in West Wales Cup

The draw for the opening round of this seasons Tony Nakonecznyj West Wales Senior Cup has been made and Garden Village have been given a home tie against Ystradgynlais.

Village, who were runners-up to Neath Athletic in last seasons competition, will host the Third Division outfit on or before Sunday October 28.

Three Welsh Premiership sides have entered the competition at the first stage with Carmarthen, Llanelli and Haverfordwest playing Giant's Grave (H), Winch Wen (H) and Monkton Swifts (A) respectively.

Briton Ferry host Neath Leaguers Onllwyn, West End play at Trostre Sports while there is an all Welsh League Third Division clash at Cwrt Herbert between Llansawel and Morriston Town.

Holders Neath Athletic have received a bye into the quarter final but there is no involvement by Swansea City who failed to fulfil their last-eight fixture against St. Joseph's last term.
