Ryton, after a bright start to the league campaign, will arrive at the Friarage in second bottom spot but they are a dangerous side and Rovers will need to be on top form if they are to get the win that their respective league positions suggests is theirs.
The Whites have had to make a change to their starting XV from last week’s 65-19 win at Gosforth, Andrew Lilley has to sit the game out with a shoulder injury that forced him off at Druid Park. His replacement that day, Mark Shires, comes in on the wing with Michael Barnfield moving into the centre to partner Phil Hall.
On the bench will be Iain Pinchen, Simon Hall and Steve Wallis.
Rovers: B Foreman, Sainty, P Hall, M Barnfield, Shires, G Foreman, A Foreman, Tucker, J Cushlow, Wise, Power, D Smith, Grazier, S Palmer, Taylor. Subs: I Pinchen, S Hall, Wallis
Ryton: Baleidraulu, Lee, Jackson, Ushar, Davidson, Fudge, Roberts, Hardy, Brett,Findlay, Wymes (c),Owens, Scott, Cork, Stainsby. Subs: Convery, Shaw-Key, Denham
Referee: Paul Mackings (Durham Society)

Found it,thanks.
On a passing note, not being from Hartlepool , I had the great pleasure in playing for Rovers.
I would have thought it was good for the town to have two good competitive teams offering a good standard of rugby.
Having played against West, down south, in your National league days, Stabs and all, its good to see your climbing the league pyramid. The way things are progressing Rovers will be joining you next season?????

Hobo - we are 2 leagues lower than west - they wont get relegated so it will be 2 seasons before that could happen - nice thought though

One can only hope.
Press coverage of the Northern leagues is a bit scarce in the south. They tend to concentrate on the big London clubs and not much else.
