Ahead of the big match on Saturday opposition manager “Sir” Jim Carley has finally announced his squad that will make the trip to Sharley Park to face the Clay Cross CC XI.

The squad contains some familiar faces that have featured in some of the Oranjeboom Challenge cricket matches that have been played over the years along with confirmation that ex Clay Cross CC members Darren Parkin and Chris Dent will be featuring.

The squad is as follows :-

Sean O'Donoghue

This is unlikely to be the final squad with manager Carley expecting this squad to be strengthened in the run up to the game with some additional guests especially if local Hope Valley League side Brampton FC see their game called off this weekend due to the weather.

It all adds up to what should be an intriguing game, or more likely a heavy defeat for the Clay Cross CC XI, this coming Saturday and local police are advising all spectators to get their early to avoid problems at the turnstiles.
