Clay Cross CC
Awards 2006 Presentation Night
By Jon Branson - October 31 2006
The club presentation night was held at the Riverside club on Friday night and there was a healthy turnout for both juniors and seniors. >

The 2006 Presentation Night took place last Friday at the exclusive Riverside Club in Chesterfield.

For the first time two nights took place with the junior section presentations taking place prior to the seniors arriving for beer, food and awards!! There was a healthy turnout despite not the greatest season for the senior sides and a good time was had by all.

Award winners were as follows :-

1st Team Batting - Parry Ghadiali
1st Team Bowling - Parry Ghadiali
1st Team Player of the Year - Jon Branson

2nd Team Batting - Stephen Eyre
2nd Team Bowling - Steven Gardiner
2nd Team Player of the Year - Chris Dent

3rd Team Batting - Steve Walker
3rd Team Bowling - John Clarke
3rd Team Player of the Year - Jordan Lemon

Duck Award - Shared by Jordon Crowder, James Sullivan and Jon Branson with 4 each.

There was the compulsary raffle and stand up bingo before beer flowed to the rocking tunes from the DJ!! Thanks to all that arranged the night and those that turned up and we look forward to the 2007 season starting with winter nets sometime early next year.

3d team batting was won by Steve Walker.

Did the bloke that knocked Miller out get an award?

£rd Team Batting was Steve Walker.
Big thanks to all especially Hannah & Sarah for all their help. Great to see more than 20 juniors there for their presentation.
