We have recently been contacted by Richard Kanócz,
(pictured above in his Durham City replica shirt) who lives in
Budapest, Hungary and we believe him to be our biggest (prehaps only)
fan in Hungary.
He is 26 years old and works as a P.E teacher in a Budapest Secondary
School. Richard says "Football has been a very important part of my
life since I was a child. I am not playing in a team at the moment but
I coach the school team after lessons. Later in my life I would like to
be a full time football coach, so I try to do my best to become as good
as possible in my profession".
Unfortunately Richard is yet to attend a Durham match but he is
interested in forming a supporters club over in Hungary. It will be
interesting to see what success he can achieve, and the club will do
its best to support him.
The Club look forward to improving Anglo-Hungarian relations
in the future.
