| The officials of West Hartlepool RFC are
committed to ensuring that equity is the cornerstone of
all aspects of the club. The elected Board, co-opted
members and officials endorse equality of access and
fairness in competition, and seek to recognise
inequalities and to take steps to address any
inequalities. We are committed to changing the culture
and structure of sport to ensure it is equally accessible
to everyone in society.
Furthermore, we respect the rights, dignity and worth
of ever person and will treat everyone equally within the
context of their sport, regardless of age, ability,
gender, race, ethnicity, religious belief, sexuality or
socio/economic status.
We are committed to everyone having the right to enjoy
their sport without threat of intimidation, harassment or
abuse.
All club members have a responsibility to oppose
discriminatory behaviour of any kind, and it is their
duty to bring any such behaviour to the attention of the
Board. Any incidents of discriminatory behaviour will be
dealt with seriously and in accordance with club rules.
