Mash, of course, has already experienced senior league rugby with Tech.
Another possible debutant tomorrow is Dan Boatman, the younger brother of Player of the Season Jon. Dan is very much in the same mold and has a very good chance of making it through to the Scottish Under 19 squad.
Brother Jon will be at No 8, after Carl Miller succumbed to a shoulder injury, while Stu Bennett has aggravated an old arm injury and may need some minor surgery - a tough blow when he has trained so hard this summer.
Up front there's good news and bad news. Brett Cullinane pulled up in training last night but Carlo Robinson is back in harness after a feisty return at Penrith last week. He'll share the propping duties with Mark Cholmondley with Anth Carr at hooker allowing Tim Sawyer to go into the back row.
Phil Wallis, who has aslo had a good start to the season, is another injury victim but it allows Davy Tighe to start at 10 with the impressive Tinker Williamson at scrum half. Martin Todd is also out with Darren Thomas deputising after some solid displays at full back.
Sandal have had a mixed start to the season. They lost at Percy Park but are always strong at Milnthorpe Green and last week turned over title favourites Sheffield.
