Welcome Back

By Dave Picken - July 2 2020
Welcome Back You are welcome to come back to the club from noon on Saturday. After weeks of planning - as well as a meeting with the Council's Environmental Health Department to go through our detailed Risk Assessment- we are confident you will be able to relax in a safe environment - providing you play your part ....

The Stag Bar and Turner Bar will both be open with strict queuing rules, and as we need so many extra staff they will be manned by volunteers. Please be patient if it takes a bit longer to get served.

You must also be prepared to give your name, address , phone and e-mail details when you come to the bar for the first time. It is mandatory for  the club to gather this information and retain it for 21 days for Track and Trace.  We will have a volunteer recording the details and giving out customer advice, and if you don't provide them we won't be able to serve you.

All the usual drinks will be available (but not food) although if you are going on the pitch side of the perimeter fence to sit on the grass you must ask for a plastic glass.

Contactless payment is preferred, and you can order four pint jugs or two pint cartons to save you a journey or two. We'd much prefer you to sit outside and we have extra tables and chairs to put out if necessary. You can also bring your own - as long as you observe social distancing.

All tables and chairs, both inside and outside, will be set out and must not be moved or chairs added to a table. We will have volunteers patrolling and cleaning to ensure everyone does the right thing to keep us all safe. Anyone not abiding by the rules will have to leave.

There will be some tables available inside the club for family groups of up to six with no "vertical drinking" allowed - so everyone has to have a seat. If there is a sudden shower, and all seats are already taken, you will not be allowed into the club. So, it's worth bringing a brolly although no heavy rain is forecast.
