Sun Shines on Charity Day

Sun Shines on Charity Day
More than £4.5k was raised by Jonny Boatman's many friends at West as the sun shone on the second charity day in memory of his daughter Imogen Rose. The proceeds will go towards the 4Louis charity which provides hospitals across the U.K with memory boxes so bereaved  parents can capture as many memories as possible.

Boatman Teams 2018

In  a highly entertaining game game Jonny's West Vets team beat a Hartlepool Select vets by 40 odd points to 20 odd.

That was followed by Matt Siddle bravely stepping forward to get his curly locks shaved off by Sharon Baggs.

Sid himself raised more than £700  - and possibly now looks more like a rugby player.

Jonny and Donna were profuse and understandably emotional in their thanks to everyone who had contributed to the fund and to their daughter's memory . The aim is now to pass the £5,000 mark at next year's fund raiser which will be held on Saturday May 18th.

Yes a tremendous effort by the whole club and players from all over town. Rugby at its best.
