Last League Game

By Dave Picken - April 20 2018
Last League Game The last game of the season and once again it's at Huddersfield YMCA. Last year we went there knowing we needed a big win to stand any chance of achieving the play-off place and promptly won 64-27.  This time we travel knowing we are relegated with only pride to play for ...

It's the home side who have something at stake as they still need some points in case Percy Park win both their last two games, which is not beyond the realms of possibility as they host Dinnington and then travel to Bradford & Bingley - both clubs with nothing to play for.

As things stand YMCA are just one place above us . Unfortunately, they have a seven-point margin so our only ambition is to break our duck on the road, and it's pretty much the same side which did well in terms of possession at West Leeds last week only to  succumb to a sharp back division.

West: Will Hilditch, Liam Checksfield, Peter Youll,  Gavin Painter,  Adam Peacock, Zac Southern, Matt Siddle, Alex Key, Adam Brown, Andrew Rollins (captain),  Jake Linighan, Joe Rafferty, Scott Butcher, Alex Barker, Andrew Turner.

Changes: Chris Atkins, John Bunter, Craig Swales.
