So, we welcome Bridlington to Brinkburn knowing that a win is very much needed to get things back on track - we are languishing in the bottom three having won only one game out of six so far.
During that time we've used no less than 31 players as injuries and work commitments have taken their toll. New head coach Stu Hardy, and assistants Carl Miller and Stu Waites, would dearly love to have the luxury of being able to agonise over who to select rather than throw sides together on Friday nights .. and all too often on a Saturday morning.
Fortunately, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Sam Milller and Alex Barker are long term injury victims, while Liam Checksfield is also ruled out this week after his return to the side at Bradford and Bingley.
Back come Adam Coates and Andrew Rollins in the front row, Joe Rafferty in the second row and Scott Butcher and Andy Turner in the back row.
In the backs Gavin Painter has recovered from his horrendous looking swollen eye and will partner Peter Youll in the centre.
Another bonus is the return of Liam Bailey, after missing all of last season, and he can provide both front row and back row cover.
They all come into the squad with the lads who stepped up to fill the vancies returning to the Stags and, hopefully, showing the benefit of their first team experiences in recent weeks. They rose to the occasion at Bradford and Bingley and deserved to return home with at least a point.
Brid arrive having won three and lost three on their return to North One East.
