Percy Park Preview
For the first time this season we find ourselves out of the promotion places with both Pocklington and Penrith overtaking us ..

However, both of those clubs still have to visit Brinkburn so the season is building up to an exciting finale with bonus point wins vital for all sides.

Percy Park visit this week and it will be another tough task as the North Shields side had been on the up with five straight victories - that was  before Pocklington arrived to inflict a 36-0 defeat in the last league game.

We go into the game off the back off a spirited display at Bradford and Bingley, where the 12-12 draw just about ended the home side’s own promotion ambitions.

There were a number of enforced absences that day, and despite having a fortnight's lay-off we still have some injury doubts with Luke Mallinson and Michael Hogan still out, Joe Willis poorly and Eldon Myers unavailable.

Matt Tyers comes in for Joe on the wing with Joe Rafferty starting in the second row and Aaron Myer providing all sorts of cover from the bench.

Will indeed be a big game and hopefully we will continue try scoring as we did last week but a 5 pointer should be our aim and with big effort we can do it. Reckon it might take unbeaten run until end of season as with the Stags. What an end of season that will be!! C'mon WEST!!
