Guisborough Preview
Rob Thorn returns to the starting line-up as once again injuries and unavailabilities force changes to the side which travels to Guisborough for a 3.00 kick off.

The powerful winger has been scoring lots of tries for the Stags, and comes straight in for Will Hilditch who finished last week's fightback against Driffield with a spot of concussion.

There's also a change on the other wing with Eldon Myers once again away - Paul Moss returns to the centre with Liam Checksfield on the other wing.

Up front Lee Maddison is still suffering from a hip injury. Alex Barker replaced him for most of last week's game, and he will keep his place in the back row alongside Sam Miller and skipper Dan Boatman.

There's also a welcome return to the squad for Michael Hogan who has returned from a belated honeymoon, and he will provide front five cover from the bench alongside Ross Wood. The versatile Greg Edwards once again providing backs cover.

They will face a Guisborough side who got off to a dreadful start to their campaign with a 70 point hiding at Alnwick only to came back with a hard fought 18-15 home win against  Morpeth. Last week they suffered a 42-10 reverse at Pocklington - never an easy place to go.

Belmangate was the scene of one our best performances last season. Unlike last week we could do little wrong on the day winning 42-0.

It was much tougher in January at Brinkburn where Guisborough looked an accomplished and well-drilled outfit. It was a game we eventually won 10-5 and which was played on the second team pitch because of the weather.

West: Luke Mallinson, Rob Thorn, Peter Youll, Paul Moss, Liam Checksfield,  Gavin Painter, Ryan Painter, Adam Coates, Andrew Rollins, Tim Blades, John Bunter, Jay Corbett,  Alex Barker, Dan Boatman (capt), Sam Miller.

Changes: Ross Wood, Michael Hogan, Greg Edwards.
