The Yorkshire side are six points behind but have played one game less, and victory this week would put them in the driving seat - specially as their game in hand is against a Morley side who will have more than one eye on the play-off game.
Fortunately, we have got our season back on track after three defeats in a row. We've beaten Pocklington and Percy Park in the last two games - although a failure to earn try bonus points has dented our ambitions of pipping Alnwick to third place.
We've got our usual batch of changes with young Liam Checksfield unable to keep his try scoring record going as he's away at a Scottish Exiles Under 18's training session.
Scott Butcher and Owen Bennett are also unavailble. However, Sam Miller and Connor Fewster are back after helping Durham Under 20's to reach a final against Hampshire on May 8th at Moseley, and there's good news in the Stags selection with Stu Waites making a comeback after his shoulder injury.
Jay Corbett keeps his place in the back row, after a man of the match performance at Preston Avenue last week, with John Bunter similarly retaining his place in the second row alongside Chris Atkins in a West side which won't have a single player over 30.
Dinnington are a well drilled outfit with a strong pack, but will be without playmaker and kicker Jonny West at fly half.
