Pocklington Preview
The injuries and absences merry-go-round continues for the trip to Pocklington with Ian Pinchen and Luke Mallinson both returning while  Liam Bailey and Scott Butcher will both be missing ..

Mallinson is fit to play again after his concussion at Driffield. However,Liam Bailey is still out following his knock-out two weeks ago.

Jay Corbett (pictured)had  a promising start to the season and is welcomed backafter his six week lay-off following yet another concussion. He will be on the bench

Already this season we have used 29 players with the great plus point the fact that some young players are having to learn fast - and they are making a very good fist of it.

They'll take on a Pocklington side who rested a number of players in their 42-0 home defeat by Morely in  the Yorkshire Cup last week.

As you would expect from a side coached by Mick Watson,  Pock have a well drilled pack and are sitting comfortably in third place - mainly thanks to a home record which has seen them overcome Ilkley, Bradford & Bingley, Old Crocs, Alnwick and Driffield.

Their away record isn't so impressive with their only win at Horden.

West: Stu Waites, Matt Tyers, Gav Robinson , Peter Youll, Luke Mallinson, Zac Southern, Ryan Painter, Ian Pinchen, Andrew Rollins, Adam Coates, Joe Rafferty, Luke Chapman, Jordan Baggs, Dan Boatman [captain], Sam Miller. Reps: Ross Wood, Jack Angus, Jay Corbett.

Pocklington squad: Webber, Stephenson, Kelly, Formon, Wilkinson, D Wilson, Brown, Fothergill, Holbrough, Davies, Fletcher, Massie, Mitchell, Hardy, White, Walters, Springett, Allen.

Totally agree. None of the lads who have come in have looked out of place.
Good luck tomorrow to all of our teams. Bet its a heavy pitch at Wigton.
