New Faces

Therer are one or two new faces at training ... and the welcome sight of an old one ..

Steve Jones is the familiar one. The former England Under 21 will always be remembered for the try he scored in the dying seconds when we beat Harlequins 10-8.

He also played for Wakefield at the top level, and most recently has been at Rovers. The 37 year old returns to lend his considerable experience to helping coach the backs, but judging by the way he is going in training he also has an eye on getting his shirt on this season.

Full back David Heckles also returns to the club from Horden. Junior county hooker Andrew Rollins is making the same journey

The 22 year old also wants to try his hand at National League rugby, and with Liam Bailey out for a full season with a knee injury he may well get his wish.

Nice to see some "new" faces getting involved. I think Tim and Olly were correct when they said you need to freshen things up every now and then.
