MKM boost for West Wing
One of the country’s leading businesses has thrown its weight behind the West Wing project with a scheme that could play a major part in the club’s ambitions to build a much-needed function suite at Brinkburn – and everybody who has an interest in West can help.

MKM Building Supplies have printed special loyalty cards which, when produced at their centre in Hartlepool or used for phone orders, will earn the West Wing FIVE PER CENT of all purchases.

And it won’t make a penny difference to the price you pay – MKM fund the scheme themselves and will always match any price by any other merchants for anything they sell.

MKM cardWhether you are buying a box of screws or a lorry-load of bricks, every time a loyalty card holder spends money at MKM’s branch in Hartlepool’s Burn Road, the West Wing will earn 5% of the purchase price.
MKM are the UK’s largest independent builders’ merchants, and they pride themselves in the passionate interest they take in their local communities, from youth enterprise and charities to schools and sports clubs.

That’s where the Hartlepool Branch directors, Mick Sumpter and Lee Dees, decided West would come in, and they came up with the idea to help the club build a brighter future.

Mick says: “We are keen to do what we can to help the community, and West’s ambitious plans deserve help.

“We’ll keep a running total and at the end of the year we’ll present the club with a cheque. Every little helps, so we would urge anybody who wants to help the club realise its ambitions to get a card and use it.”

The scheme starts on Monday, March 14, and loyalty cards are available NOW from club and team officials and behind the bar at Brinkburn. They cost nothing and all you have to do is present them when you buy anything from MKM, either in person or by telephone on 01429 231500.
