The West Wing Campaign

The West Wing Campaign
We now have full planning permission to  build a handsome new function suite at Brinkburn. We are calling it The West Wing and it will be a major source of income generation to help the club develop the dressing rooms and clubhouse facilities.. Now the fundraising begins ....

The Board has arranged funding for £100,000 and the aim is now to raise another £100,000 from within the club itself.

It's hoped that every age group, every member and every supporter will do their bit to help us reach the target as soon as possible. If you've got an idea contact us .......  westwing@live.co.uk

A separate bank account has been set up for The West Wing and all money raised and donated will be solely used for the project.

The West Wing  will provide a function room for up to 200 but will also be easily divided for smaller functions. It will bring in important revenue from outside which will help us develop phase two of the Brinkburn project  - to build a new club facility including dressing rooms and weights gym.

It's on the plan! Straight on top of where the old portakabins are and stretching out to the car park by the looks of it.

Here are some ideas for possiblle fund raising, comments on what people think:-

-extra bucket at the gate on match days (four pound in and most people will chuck their pound change in)
- Holiday raffle ( buy a weekend away around valentines day or abroad for a week and sell tickets)
-Mobile phone collection (get people to donate the old phones we al have sitting around and sell them to a recycling company)

Got loads more ideas but there are a few to start

If we sell all our RFU raffle tickets that will raise £5000+
They are in the bar all ready to take and sell.
