It was also revealed that things are not quite cut and dried over who will play in North One next season.
It all hinges on National One Coventry being able to survive their present off the field problems. If they don't, and the club folds, then Morley will not be relegated from National 3 North. Instead, Chester will take their place and fixtures instead of moving across to Midlands One.
The ambitious North 2 West champions had volunteered to make up the numbers in Midlands One. A decision is imminent.

It would be a very sad day if Coventry ceased to exits. In my time they were always one of the leading clubs in the whole country.

Seriously, well done everyone at West Hartlepool!
Happy days are here again! Phil Webber will be looking down and enjoying all this.

He is very knowledgeable about Hartlepool rugby in general. In his speech he said how pleased he was to see West on the way back up.
Old Boys were there as well to get their award so the town was well represented.

I'm sure it was Bill Beaumont who described Ian Millican as the hardest man he has ever played against.
However quite a lot of people said that of Ian.
