It will be another very young homegrown West side which takes to the field - made younger by the unfortunate absence of Davy Tighe who has finally succumbed to his ankle injury and is due to undergo surgery today [Friday]. The way the skipper has played this season you could never tell he was playing through the pain barrier ... but at least he is giving himself the maximum recovery time for next season.
So the half backs will be 18 years old Mikey Young and Gav Painter. Danny Weegram is available for a rare outing on the wing in place of Gav Painter. Martin Todd is aunavailable si its another start fro Tom Douigherty who has impressed since moving uop from the Colts.
Jon Norris starts in the front row in what could be his last game for some time. The 19 year-old needs surgery on his hand this summer, and is likely to be out for most of next season, which means Carlo Robinson will spend the summer getting himself fit.
By comparison the Tigers side does not have the appearance of being homegrown but their "imports" are close to delivering a second promotion in a row. They will be at home in the play-offs, and will face either Broughton Park or Lymm, with every prospect of being in North One next season.
West: Hare, Weegram, Edwards, Howe, Dougherty, Painter, Young, Carr, A Dixon, Norris, C Miller, T Dixon, D Boatman, Myers, J Boatman [capt]. Reps Robinson, Rudd, Moss.
Tigers Jon Storey, Jon Griffiths, Rob Piund, Doug Trivella, Jon Cox, Charles Baumberg, Chris Cox, Harry Toews [capt], Boosi Muller, Anthony Parkin, Richard Joel, Edy Gauche, Morgan Jones, Stuart Holes, John Dudley. Reps: Tom Ryder, Edu Hanekom, Duncan Bell.

Good luck to Davy Tighe from me as well. Another very young side tomorrow so yes it will be interesting.
What are these comments about the coach all about?

He's a very, erm how shall i put it, passionate person with a bit of a non sporting streak.
He was horrible to their physio at their place when she went to help one of our players who was injured whilst Gez saw to someone else.
Should be fun!
