Saturday 28th July saw Southampton Spitfires compete in their first ever Rugby League game, against Kent Ravens A.
Despite not fully understanding the rules, Spitfires put up a commendable performance and ran out 56-16 victors. A report of the game can be found in the Match Reports sections.
Next up is Northampton Casuals on 4th August- another Union side tentatively dipping a toe in the murky waters of rugby league. The game takes place at Test Park, KO at 2.30pm and should be a wonderful demonstration of champagne rugby... Please come on down, show some support and have a beer or two.
Rugby League training is taking place on Thursday evenings, 7pm. See you there!
