Successful Season for Under 11 Team
Team manager Gary Bragman is pleased to report upon an excellent season for the Under 11 Squad at Hartlepool Cricket Club.
The squad members pictured above have had an enjoyable season of competitive cricket, received good support from parents and family and provided entertainment for all who followed them.

Highlight was the winning of the Ray Ellwood Memorial Challenge Trophy in its first year. The Cup is to be an annual challenge between the Seaton Carew Club and Hartlepool at Under 11 age. The Cup has been presented in memory of Ray Ellwood, himself a former Hartlepool and Seaton Carew player and respected umpire for many years. Ray was however a Seaton man, his untiring efforts towards developing junior cricketers at Seaton Carew is surely reflected in the success Seaton are now enjoying. The Cup is a fitting memorial for such a nice man and cricketing enthusiast.

I understand that Hartlepool were worthy winners this year in the match held at Seaton Carew and the Club congratulate all who have contributed to the success throughout the season.

Teams have been selected from the following:

James Johnson, Daniel Bragman, Joshua Bragman, Matthew Evans, Connor Evans, Rebecca Wheatley, Darren Peek, Peter Dutoy, Tyler Temple, Max van der Werff, Tom Dickie, Christopher Davidson, Adil Ahmed, Chelsea Squires, Joe and Jack Morley.

Gary Bragman has assured the Club that he has some stars in the making which shows great promise for the future.
