Adil Tahir Arif made an excellent half-century on Saturday.

Jack Wilkinson is leading the team with confidence

Kasun Bodhisha is demonstrating what a good player he is with Half-centuries in both matches.

Marc Symington playing with more freedom as a batsmen in the middle order to supplement his excellent versatility with both seam and spin bowling.

Hartlepool ended the Bank Holiday with a thrilling tie against Marton with both sides totalling 194 in a match restricted to 44 overs a side due to a rain delayed start.

For a large part of Hartlepool's innings they looked favourites but Marton kept taking wickets at vital times to stall progress and keep the match in the balance.  John Glendennen was top scorer in the Marton innings and Kasun Bodhisha made 58 for Hartlepool before being bowled.  That proved to be  key moment in the match, followed soon after by the dismissal of Danny Evans and put pressure on Hartlepool to maintain the scoring rate withnew batsmen at the crease.  Jonathan Mitchell hit Indisiri for a six in the penultimate over to keep Hartlepool in the hunt but with 2 needed from the final ball Marton secured a run out as Peter Rhoden vainly attempted to get back for 2.  Hartlepool 14 points Marton 15 points.  Excellent entertainment and the best finish of the season so far.
