Neil Coverdale was the star performer as he remained 84 not out for Hartlepool as they successfully overhauled the Middlesbrough total of 205 all out. Hartlepool won by 7 wickets with overs to spare in extremely confident style. The bowling attack laid the foundations for the win and put Middlesbrough on the back foot for much of the innings. they were 148 for 8 before a good recovery saw them close at 205 with a late order fightback.
