| Hartlepool recorded a welcome away victory at Richmondshire in a match
reduced to 37 overs per side after a pre-match downpour resulted in a late
start. Hartlepool opted to bowl and soon had both openers out
without scoring. Callum Prosser and Marc Symington made the early
breakthroughs before Anthony Fawcett put in a good spell to end with 3 for
21 to see richnondshireDismissed for just over the 100 mark in 33 overs.
hartlepool were forced to shuffle the batting order as Jack Wilkinson strained a muscle whilst fielding. Saman and Marc opened to make a steady start chasing down the modest home total.
Chris Fawcett kept the score ticking until a late flurry of wickets saw Hartlepool eventually reaching the finishing line to win by 3 wickets and secure a welcome 20 points after recent poor results.
