HCC took the lions share of the points in a drawn match with Darlington. Wilkinson, Saman and Symington scored the bulk of the home total before the visitors took advantage of a benign wicket to frustrate the bowlers. Symmos off breaks provided hope of a positive result halting Darlo's progress

Jack Wilkinson celebrates his 50 and went on to make 75 in the home total of 206

A rare sight for NYSD bowlers as Saman is bowled for 50.  Saman has now scored an impressive 795 league runs at an average of 113.57 with 2 centuries and six half-centuries

Marc Symington takes the first of his 5 wickets the last of which took him to 50 league wickets at an impressive average.  Marc enjoyed an excellent all-round match with 40 runs in the first innings.

Callum Prosser is deleighted to take the vital wicket of Tariq Aziz caught in the gully.

Darlington adopted a cautious approach after 3 early wickets and eventually settled for a draw when Marc Symington turned to spin to halt any hope te visitors had of making the required 207 for victory.  A 14 point draw for Hartlepool

The 2nds enjoyed a comfortable away win at Seaton Carew to gain some revenge for earlier defeats to their local rivals.  Izran Hussain did the donkey work with the ball to allow Chris Smith to clean-up late in the innings.  Hartlepool's top order then ensured that there was no slip-up this time as they coasted home by 6 wickets for 20 points.  The next match is at home to Whitby who are one of the teams in contention for league honours.  Should be a good match if HCC repeat this good form.
