Beadles About......In Duffield!

Oh how we laughed at the prospect - Mr Hadfield left his phone in the plush drinking establishment 'The Broadway' - "lets have some fun" we thought - and fun we did have.

So, schoolboy error number 1 - Hadfield leaves his phone in the pub.

Who would be good fun to have a bit of a giggle with???? ahhh Dat Der Burnham, Balraj, Sims, Saunders and Jones - yes they'll have a laugh with us.

So a text message to dat Der Burnham from Mr Hadfield's phone was sent requesting a meeting at 11am, to discuss him being 2nd XI vice skipper.....Schoolboy error number 2 from dat Der Burnham:
"Why?? What has gone off. i can do but not altogether sure I am 2nd team player. No other options?"
"We were impressed with how well you did last year in the thirds. One thing lacking in the 2s was a lefty, can u pop round tomorrow to discuss at 11?"
"Sure. Will do. I obviously have some concerns about it. See you at 11 tomorrow" - PRICELESS

"i think the boys have been windin you up mate - eh - I can assure you that I didn't send you any texts" - (Burnham shows Hadders the messages on his phone)

Then Mr Jones - maybe a meeting at Hadders house at 11 to fix Hadders 'broken' computer??? "yeah, no probs will see you at 11" - schoolboy error number 3.

then Balraj surely he wouldnt fall for the "Brad Hogg may be our overseas next year - could you come round to Hadders at 11 to discuss it????"

Only Denis saw through the dodgy texts sent at 22.30 after numerous ales last - congratulations Sir.
