Moon, I was talking to FC on Sunday and his frustration, due to lack of good service, was still very apparent almost 24 hours after the game. He felt you stifled his normal running game and significantly limited his usually high number of try scoring opportunities. To try and pass the blame back down the line to your scrum half is totally out of order! Mixie has played outside some of the great TDS 9ís, so is fully aware of what is required from that role. The varied pass height has been a common tactic used over the years to confuse and inhibit opposing teams and was most successfully deployed against Wakefield in the early 90ís.

It looks like the selection decision has already been made; FC was seen practicing his goal kicking at Brinkburn early Sunday afternoon, so he must have had the nod!
