The Padmore Medal

Hello from us and we hope you have another good and happy cricketing year.

Just to say we are going to Dubai from 1 - 8 Feb for the last England v Pakistan Test. Many of you will know that the medals were struck in Robert's memory and the presentations of the first two were incident prone to say the least!! The first, awarded to Monty Panesar coincided with the "ball tampering" affair and the second in 2010 which went to Aoin Morgan came the day after the "spot fixing" allegations.

So we're hoping that the 3rd medal can be presented in a considerably less fraught atmosphere!! As Day 1 of the second test is so much better than the first we have some hope that England might salvage a win from the series.

Kind regards to all, we'll be hoping to have another family gathering at one of your home matches this summer.
