Seaton Start 2010 with a Win

Seaton travelled up the A19 to take on a Strong and Talented Whitley Bay side at Rockcliff Rugby club. Seaton Started the Brighter of the 2 sides with a brilliantly judged Crossfield kick resulting in a try in the Corner with Jenkins conversion dropping inchs short (5-0). Whitley Bay Responded well and after phases of pressure eventually Crossed in the Corner (7-5). Whitley Bay's Scrum half Showed Fantastic Positional Awareness and chipped ahead and gathered the Ball in the Try Area to score. WBR couldn't add the Extras(12-5). The Referee blew for halftime shortly after.

A Stirling Speech From Coach Billy Lithgo Sent the U18s out in full flow and Crossed after a minute of play the Ironically named Daley Rockcliff crossing in the left corner.(12 - 10) Seaton wasted chance after chance to score taking the ball into contact rather than shipping it wide. But through Powerfull running from Flanker Sean park , Benji Clayton and Dan Collinson put Seaton into Fantastic Position and Numerious Infringments at the Breakdown from WBR saw Fly half Park kick seaton into fantastic positon inside the WBR 22 with Stilton Cooper Crossing Next near the posts(12-15) The Next try came outwide as Fly Half Park found his way over the Try Line under the posts Converted by Jenkins (22 -15) Seaton showed some Determaned defence to hold out waves of WBR attacks before the Referee Blew for Full Time.
