The 2016 NatWest T20 Blast gets underway with Essex taking on Surrey, live on Sky Sports 2 from 7pm on Friday. Ahead of the competition, weve asked Sky Sports Rob Key and Nasser Hussain to take a look at the North and South groups respectively, picking out their winners and ones to watch.Read Robs take on the northern teams below, while click here for Nassers thoughts on the southern sides... North Group winner…Nottinghamshire. Their overseas player is Dan Christian, plus hes the captain. Its a very experienced side with the likes of Michael Lumb and Riki Wessels. Jake Ball is a rare talent with the ball, and Luke Fletcher, if he plays, bowls very good yorkers. Theyve also got a very good, wily spinner and all-rounder in Samit Patel.I just think theyve got a lot of excellent cricketers. Obviously, whats happened to James Taylor is going to be a huge loss, but Trent Bridge is a great ground for T20, one of the best wickets to play a T20 game on. Theyve got a very good history of playing well in Twenty20 and theyve got a very good side. Dan Christian starred for Hobart Hurricanes in this years Big Bash League Quarter-final contenders…Northamptonshire were at Finals Day last year and everyone sees them as underdogs because theyre a smaller county but actually theyve got a lot of match-winners in their line-up. Theyve lost David Willey, but I like Northants and I think they understand T20 cricket - theyve got some good young players and skilful bowlers.Strugglers…Yorkshire are obviously a fantastic side and there is every chance theyll still do well in it, but any team that loses three-quarters of your players to England or any other side is going to find it hard work. There is nothing to say they wont do very well but, if they do, it will be a serious effort.Batting star… Ben Duckett - a star in the making I think Ben Duckett at Northants is an outstanding prospect, certainly in the longer format. He really puts you under the cosh and can score very quickly, so can easily come off in T20, too. What sort of role they find for him at Northants I dont know, but he could be a real star.Bowling star…Stephen Parry. An unsung hero at Lancashire over the last few years, he leads their spin attack - which is important for them - well. You have Arron Lilley and Steven Croft who come on and do a job but Parry is the one they generally use as a banker - he gets four overs, normally takes wickets and doesnt concede many runs.Gun fielder… Rob has compared Paul Collingwood to Peter Pan! Paul Collingwood is still one of the best fielders in the world at near-on 40 years old. Its extraordinary, particularly considering I wasnt moving well at 20 and got progressively worse! Colly is like Peter Pan and doesnt seem to age.Emerging talent…Olly Stone. People might not have seen a lot of him but he reminds me of a young Stuart Broad when he first came on the scene for Leicestershire as a youngster. He has good pace, is smart and I think hes one to watch.Fantasy team must have… Samit Patel - a threat with bat and ball Samit Patel. Hell get runs, hell get wickets and hell field well. You cant go too far wrong with someone who is involved in every part of the game. Hell bowl four overs, bat and field in important positions so Samit is always up there.Id like to see someone come in fancy dress as…Im not sure on that one. But Id like to see Chris Read come as someone in fancy dress. I think hes a dark horse and would probably put in a bit of effort. The 2016 NatWest T20 Blast gets underway with Essex taking on Surrey, live on Sky Sports 2 from 7pm on Friday. Ashley Youngs cross was inadvertently headed by Chester into his own net in the 66th minute, allowing United to claim a third straight league win. "We had to dig deep with our fighting spirit and weve done that," United striker Wayne Rooney said. Wales have been placed on alert that Argentina will aim to create as much chaos as possible in Saturdays Principality Stadium clash.Just a week after being crushed 32-8 at home by Australia, Wales face the Wallabies Rugby Championship rivals in an encounter given added significance by their miserable autumn series opener.Interim head coach Rob Howley reacted to that defeat - Wales heaviest home loss for 10 years - by making six changes, including dropping 84 times-capped midfield mainstay Jamie Roberts to the bench and recalling his fellow Test Lions Sam Warburton and Alun Wyn Jones.Wales have beaten Argentina seven times from nine attempts in Cardiff, and a similar result on Saturday under the stadiums closed roof would at least put the autumn campaign back on track ahead of meeting Japan and South Africa later this month. It was a very uncharacteristic performance last Saturday, Wales assistant coach and forwards specialist Robin McBryde said. There were two things - how good Australia were, and how uncharacteristic we were defensively. It was just one of those first halves. At half-time, we were left scratching our heads, really.Argentina are consistent performers in the Rugby Championship. They will be physical, they will be fast. They will have looked at our performance from last weekend, and we have got to put that right with regards to how we defend the threats they pose. Any loose kicks, they are going to look to run it back and try to create as much chaos as possible, which is the type of game they thrive on.?You are hoping for a reaction. The (Wales) players know what is ahead of them tomorrow, they know what is asked of them. There was nobody more disappointed than the players themselves in that they didnt front up last Saturday. It really is a measure of the team and all of us, really, in how we perform tomorrow and come back stronger.?Warburton, back in the team after injury, has seen prop Gethin Jenkins retain the captaincy on an occasion when Jenkins will make a world record-breaking 133rd Test match appearance for a front-row forward.ddddddddddddBut the Cardiff Blues flanker still has an integral leadership role to play when Wales target what would be their first win since they destroyed Italy on the final day of last seasons RBS 6 Nations Championship. For the first 24 hours after a result like that (against Australia), you go home, pretty much waiting for the next training day to try to put things right, Warburton said. You only need that carrot dangled in front of you of starting for Wales against Argentina on Saturday, and you are desperate to go out there and put in a performance which everyone will be proud of and we know we are capable of doing. Its annoying the last game we played was a defeat, which we admit was a poor performance. So we are desperate to put that right and prove to our fans what we are capable of. Thats enough motivation for the players.Warburton, meanwhile, paid a glowing tribute to his Blues and Wales colleague Jenkins, who will be 36 next week but shows no obvious sign of slowing up as he moves past ex-New Zealand hooker Keven Mealamu and into fourth place on rugby unions all-time cap list behind Richie McCaw, Brian ODriscoll and George Gregan.Gethin is in that top category as one of Wales greatest players, Warburton added. Two or three years ago, people would be saying hes slowing down, but I havent seen him slow down at all in training or in games. With Gethin, he is second to none performance-wise. He always puts his body on the line. He empties the tank, and I really respect that. He leads from the front, and tactically he is very astute and a very intelligent rugby player. He is very good on the field at problem-solving.It sounds an easy thing to do, but when you are in the heat of a Test match there might be something which is going on, whether its a driving line-out or an attacking play which hasnt worked. He is very good at changing that, which a lot of players cant do.
