We have the honour of hosting Hartlepool's very first Hash House run this Saturday- called the Monkey Hanger Hash run.

It's being organised by John Ludbrook who now lives in Munich, but comes home to visit his mum every now and then. He’s asked to stage the run from West next Saturday afternoon and is expecting a few Hash House regulars from as far away as Aberdeen.

By all accounts the runners have to follow a trail which he marks out by putting down dollops of flour. It's all followed by a few drinks and a bbq and all are welcome. Costs a tenner but there's tee shirts, a drink and food.

3.00 at the club just turn up. About 7k and you can walk it if you want

Well it would be nice inviting people to the town and then asking them to set off running up West View Road wouldn't it?
Is this the same Ludbrook who went to WHGS about 40+ years ago?

If anyone can make it to this hash its not a race its just a bunch of people with a drinking problem who like to have a run, I have done a few of these when working abroad and can recommend it as being a good laugh, especially the drinking part after the run.
